Collection patterns

about.

This project was carried out in a professional and paid environment, within my alternating company, Polypap, a printing industry for packaging for florists in B2B.

It involved the creation of temporary collections of floral patterns for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, aiming to bring novelty and a collectible effect in line with the bouquet trend.
The company primarily targets florists, with a clientele mostly in France but also internationally (Canada, Greece, Italy, Japan).
The printers are based on a flexographic system, which implies constraints to keep in mind throughout the process.

challenge.

I responded to the request by combining aesthetics with industrial and technical constraints, enhancing the romance and mystery of love as well as the softness and maternal elegance. The process of creating the patterns, incorporating a collection of illustrations from Adobe Stock and generated by AI, trials of repetition, and various compositions in black and white, allowed me to meet the challenge of adhering to the constraints while providing a result that was true to the brief and refreshing.

results.

The graphic choices I made directly address the challenges of the project.

For example, the symbolism of colors, as well as flowers, was taken into account, which allows to guide the client's imagination in the desired direction of the pattern. For instance: peonies for Mother's Day, definitely not purple (mourning), pink and red because those are the colors that work best during Valentine's Day...

Here’s how these themes were expressed within Polypap, in addition to the sheets and rolls of paper used for packaging; these are original products, called Florbox and Innobags.
